I have to ask, this has been puzzling long time now. I have seen the reference "In G, played in E Position" and similar.

Break it down for me please, it would be a big help for some "hints" and such I have.

In G=
In E position+=

I'm sure its so simple but hey I gotta know....Thank you much!!

Capo on the third fret. Play all the usual "E' position chords. Good luck. :)

Same tune, different words, different guitars. This is a 1953 Gibson L-50 (archtop) . Best neck of any of my guitars by a long shot.
A friend of mine who puts out world music records was warning me against putting possibly copywriten material on any CD I was thinking of doing without making the proper legal arrangements but suggested that if I altered the words and title enough it might not be an issue. Hence Dogfish Blues, which does have some autobiographical material that I like.

This is great.Love the guitar,so rhythmic, sounds like a drum,Very dirty and funky.The vocal is super too,very dirty and funky.Overall
extremely dirty and funky-and what could be better than that?!!.
