I love it! You and the pianist go together fabulously!

Really enjoyed this Phil. It is a time machine...listening transports me back to 1930. Well Done. Colm

That music is really meant to be played with a piano.  Sounds great!  Though I wish the guitar had been a teeny bit up in the mix.

Say, what guitar are you playing there?

Agreed.  Really like this one.  Great overall sound and the guitar bounces of the piano really nicely.

Thanks for the positive comments.

dj, it's played on my 2004 Fine Resophonic Triplate, vocal and guitar recorded through a single AEA R44; Chris is playing an 1896 Bechstein grand recorded through a couple of valve condenser mics (C12 I think), all to tape. This is only a rough mix, the final version will appear on my forthcoming cd (due September). Shame we had to scrunch it up for the mp3.

Christian is one of the best blues pianists around, look him up on YouTube or his own site. Shame we rarely see him in the UK.
