The Devil Makes Three

Don't know if anyone has heard of this band, but they're a pretty good modern band consisting of vocals/guitar/banjo/upright. Anyway, they have a new album called "Redemption and Ruin" consisting of covers of blues and old time songs such as "Drunken Hearted Man", "Champagne and Reefer", "What Would You Give In Exchange For Your Soul", and "I Gotta Get Drunk". The one that sold me on the album though is a cover of Ralph Stanley's "I Am The Man Thomas", it's an awesome tune. Just throwing it out there in case anybody wants to hear some old songs by a good modern band.

I don't listen to them too frequently but it's always enjoy it when I do. I have not heard their new album but I will certainly check it out as I am interested to hear their take on some old blues tunes.
