Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S., but I'd like to wish a very happy Thanksgiving to everybody a day early. Happy Thanksgiving! All best, Johnm eric
The same to you John, and Weenies everywhere. My daughter's home from 4 years in the Navy, my son's coming home from school, great weather, New Mexico style dinner in the works for tomorrow. And back to playing again after a serious hand injury. Lots to be grateful for.

Feeling thankful for many things including the Weenies, despite the depressing big picture. It makes finding joy and fellowship in music even more important!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I'm trying to think of good ways to deflect the temptation to engage in political discussions, should they arise (and realistically how could they not?) around a large dinner table with friends later today. We provided the 26 pound turkey. The bird was Amish-raised so probably we should avoid electric carving aids.
Happy Thanksgiving, Rivers.
...I'm trying to think of good ways to deflect the temptation to engage in political discussions, should they arise (and realistically how could they not?)... I usually just say, "We live in the Dark Ages and any appearance of it being a modern world is merely an illusion." --and leave it at that. Don't eat too much turkey. We have to leave enough room for all of the other goodies. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Q: What do you call a [live] turkey the day after Thanksgiving? A: Lucky (edited to eliminate ambiguity) Thanks for the greeting Stuart! I have mixed feelings about the joke. haha
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
