Saturday night Steve told me that his National Mandolin had been stolen from his car. This morning he e-mailed me the info (photo attached):

Maple/Walnut body with pearloid headstock overlay.  #007 stamped in back of headstock. “Hot plate” type pickup. Black hard case.
