Furry Lewis, a 77 year old, wooden-legged street sweeper from Memphis, told the audience that when he got married he had 15 cents and his wife had 25. "Then the next day she left me flat, sayin' I had got her just for the money" - Michael Lydon, New York Times, April 1970, Oh, What a Beautiful City
I hope this link works (it's to my acousticfriends site; it's too big to upload here).
I invite constructive criticism, as this is my first recording. It's based on Stefan Grossman's arrangement, but I've thrown in a few twists that I like.
Thanks.
John

Still no luck, John, that just takes me to my own profile (which I just set up trying to find yours). I can't see how this site works. Tried searching on Fifthtry and that didn't work. Tried searching on Shake That Thing but they don't search on song titles. Did you use a different user name?
Good to see you're putting it out there, anyway.
All for now. John C.

Love the steady muted bass, and ringing melody. Got that John Hurt feel workin' for you. Thankis for the post and extra effort to get it computer friendly.
