Joe Bussard

Just visited Joe Bussard, and he has some incredible home made cd compilations for sale for 9$ a piece, all from his collection. All were mastered with his equipment and the quality is astounding. He has several hand picked volumes of Jazz, Jugband, Blues, several eras of country, you name it. I got "When Jazz Was Jazz Vol. 2" and "A Jar Of Jug Band Jam", so much I've never heard before.

He used to have an online service where he sold cassette tapes of records from his collection and I bought many from him (All of them great! They always came with a nice handwritten note too), but he seems to have been offline for a few years now.

Is there a way to purchase the CD's without a trip  to Maryland?

Joe Bussard is a gem, a wonderful person, and an unusual "collector" - he's MOSTLY interested in the music and wants to share it with the world, unlike most of the anal-retentives out there who go in their back rooms twice a day and stick a 78 stylus into their veins. You know who you are!!

My buddy and I did a haphazard recording session with Joe using the mic he uses for his radio shows in 50 years old and sounds amazing.
