My songs ain't writ on papuh... them words, they just come to me while I sing. That's a true God-given talent I was borned with. Only real blues singers like me can make songs on the spot. No mutha's gonna teach you that - Guitar Gabriel, PTCBW 1995 in a semisober moment responding to a naïve student who asked "where ideas for his songs come from?"

Portland blues stop
« on: June 14, 2013, 04:31:49 PM »
I got an email the other day from a Northern California guy driving to blues week who asked about stopping on the way to attend my Blues & Beer Class in Portland.
Great idea! He is welcome and so are y'all.
The regular group classes are on Wednesday evenings, and if that doesn't fit your itinerary we could try to schedule an individual lesson (or group lesson) at your convenience.
If you need a place to stay I can direct you to the Blues, Brews & Bicycles Guesthouse or somewhere else. Even if you're not interested in a lesson I can help you find good music and good beer in Portland -- drop me a line! Cheers, Steve Cheseborough
