Hi all,
I must confess I work an office job, i.e. I spend lots of time sitting in front of a computer. I listen to lots of podcasts and am always looking for programs that document the history of the blues and related subjects. I know many such programs have been shared here over time but I thought I'd start a new thread with a couple I found recently. If any of you know of any others worth sharing please do.

I was sparked to do this by reading a Weenie thread that included info on Paul Oliver's BBC programs on the blues. Searching for those led me to find the below youtube audio containing his program 'Before the Blues' which was broadcast on BBC radio in 1987. I suspect there are more where this came from as far as the Paul Oliver BBC programs are concerned.

I also recently discovered the below Afropop program 'Africa and the Blues' and definitely recommend it:

Here is a one shot blues podcast coming up this Saturday (July 15,2017) at 11:00 AM from radio station WHUP of Hillsborough, N.C. It features blues artists Big Boy Henry and Lightnin' Wells performing at the Festival For The Eno in Durham, N.C. in 1988. This show is introduced and curated by author/organizer Art Menius and should be of interest to most lovers of acoustic blues.I think It's available for streaming up to two weeks after the broadcast date; https://whupfm.org/show/classic-eno-festival-live/

A really nicely made little podcast series - no big revelations, but lots of good music and well researched info.
