New Info- William Brown -Memphis Tn
« on: December 16, 2012, 04:09:35 PM »
The artist "William Brown", was found playing on the streets of Memphis by Lomax and recorded with Willie 61 Blackwell...

DRUM ROLL-----------------

I just discovered his BIO info from 1930-1940.
I can show him listed as a Musician in the Directory for 1935. It shows his address.

Upon searching that information, I found his census reports for 1930 and 1940...
He lived near Stovall Plantation...

Thanks,
Randy

Very interesting. Hopefully we can put all the W. Brown identity arguments to rest now! Unless you've found a 4th William Brown.  :P
