Just remember Slim, that security will relieve you of offensive weapons at check-in so don't misdirect your efforts. You know what I mean.....

This is Roscoe Holcomb, and the title of this song is the Stingy Woman Blues. I made it myself - Roscoe Holcomb on Mountain Music of Kentucky

Too kind gentlemen and weenies, credit to Mr Blueshome as well for it is he that keeps nagging me to do it
I have not heard back from the hotel as yet, but am sure there will be no problems, I'll post again when you can start reserving your suites.. Note the tel number is now corrected!!!
Well, here go, EuroWeenie lives yet again As usual I have heard nothing back from the hotel - why is it always me always doing the confirmation - however, let's ignore that and just start booking ourselves in The rates as I have agree are - Twin/double rooms to include Full English Breakfast, Table d?hote Dinner and VAT at ?125.00 per room per day - that price is for two people. For single occupancy the rate for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast will be ?78.00. Please ring the hotel direct 01590 - 643911 to book and ensure you quote the agreed rate. Do NOT use the booking agency as on this web page http://www.oxfordhotelsandinns.com/OurHotels/SouthLawn That's about it folks, it would help if you could post here just to say you have booked, otherwise if I don't see you before I shall look forward to next April! Well done Mr.T!
Once we have a better idea of the guest list we can devise some kind of programme, no doubt including un-natural acts with National guitars and more torment from the Prof. harvey
I will attend again, and probably my good lady.. I have warned her, but she seems to think that a weekend in a new forest hotel sounds nice
I will attend again, and probably my good lady.. I have warned her, but she seems to think that a weekend in a new forest hotel sounds nice If only the poor lady knew... This does present two problems young Harvey in that who will Norfolk Slim have to imbibe with and that the drop in alcohol sales may well effect our room rates.
On the plus side, with wifely encouragement and less red wine consumed, we may get a tune out of him!
If the weather's okay theres lots of nice things to do round there. If its not, she's sure going to be grumpy after a day in a faded function room listening to intense debate about the relevance of Banjo to the country blues Sounds like you have done this before, personally I have never been brave enough nor my lady wife more than .003% interested in doing it anyway. Quote a day in a faded function room listening to intense debate about the relevance of Banjo to the country blues Sounds like a bit of heaven to me! I just rang that number up there and got "St. George's Hospital"! What's gwine on??
Just checked and the correct number is: 01590 64 39 11 I just booked. Apparently we are called "The Thomas Group" (!). I just booked. Apparently we are called "The Thomas Group" (!). Euroweenies was probably too alarming. Sorry about the number, I had it written correctly but obviously couldn't type.
I suspect that eruoweenies sounded like an incontinence device, that must have been the hospital connection PP. And d'you know, I thought for a minute UB had booked
