Does anyone know where Pernell is buried and does he have a headstone
Pete Lowry of this parish will be able to answer this but in the meantime he died 12 April 1979, Waverley, Virginia, where he was also born. A good bet for burial location would be Waverley.

Sorry, guys, but I haven't a clue. Possibly Kip Lornell does? That's who told me of Pernell's illness and death. As for headstones - if a musician was a veteran, one usually is supplied (e.g. - Baby Tate); if they are not, bupkis in most cases. A small metal thing stuck into the ground with info on a piece of paper that disintegrates in the weather. I supplied stones for Tate, and for Curley Weaver back in '72/'73.
