We just hit the 2,800 mark for Country Blues song lyrics transcribed in Weeniepedia. Thanks to all who contributed transcriptions and who made crucial corrections to posted lyrics. Particular thanks to banjochris, for his acute hearing and willingness to share his knowledge, without which there would be many more gaps and mistakes in the transcriptions I've posted. All best, Johnm Another milestone! Thanks for all the time and hard work you put into this!
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Do all the songs transcribed on Weenie Campbell end up on Weeniepedia?
I did a transcription of "The Honey Dripper" (Sykes, Anrold) recently and Old Devil (Carter) but I can't find it on Weeniepedia. I will check on those songs, Harry. Thanks for the heads up.
EDITED TO ADD: I entered those two songs, Harry. All best, Johnm Hi all,
We just hit the 2,900 mark of Country Blues song lyrics transcribed and entered in Weeniepedia. A special thanks to harry, who has transcribed so many songs recently, and to banjochris, who so often supplies the missing line or phrase in a transcription. Thanks as well to everyone else who has contributed transcriptions or corrections to transcriptions. All best, Johnm Hi all,
Just to let you know, we just hit the mark for 3,000 song lyrics transcribed and posted in Weeniepedia. Thanks to all who have contributed by posting lyric transcriptions and by engaging in close listening and making suggestions for making lyrics that have been posted more accurate. That is a lot of songs, and Weeniepedia is really becoming a great resource, I think. All best, Johnm Hello, could somebody add these song lyrics to weeniepedia? Thanks, Harry.
