Not enough musically to provide a proper analysis.

Not the most original title. Can you please provide a photo of the sleeve for identification purposes, Phil? Thanks. Oh - and maybe a list of the performers on it?

It took me a little while, but luckily your review contained just enough information to find it (hidden in a reference to Bengt Olsson). Thank goodness for Stefan!

Thanks for the heads up, Phil!

There appears to be a YouTube playlist of the album, unfortunately not to be viewed worldwide.

Those of us who can't see the videos, can hear samples of the tunes on Allmusic:

Recorded by Bengt Olsen

Every song looks like it might be a candidate for Mr.Millers puzzlers.

Hi Phil,
Apropos of your last observation, I went to Amazon and looked at the program of the CD and saw that the current puzzler, Lincoln Jackson's "Loping Blues", comes from the CD.  I've lately seen a lot of the songs on the program, particularly those by Lattie Murrell and Lum Guffin, showing up on youtube.  It does look to be a really strong program, and I'm always interested in musicians who were field recorded doing Country Blues at such relatively late dates.  In some ways, that period from '69--'74 doesn't seem so long ago, but in terms of the number of people from within the tradition living and playing the music, it was a completely different world then.
All best,
Johnm
