Billy Boy Arnold sings Big Bill Broonzy Electro-Fi CD

(1/5) > >>

Bunker Hill:
I've been sent a copy of this CD, due for release next week, and it's a winner. Good old fashioned acoustic blues that's right up my street.

Rather than bombarding you all with my purple prose and hyperbole, I've attached an mp3 of Key To The Highway which I've reduced to around 660kb from its 2mb to make attachment quicker and easier.

Rivers:
Yow, that's really nice. I'm not familiar with Billy Boy Arnold, lovely touch and taste on the guitar, excellent voice, nice harp.

Bunker Hill:
Guitarist is Eric Noden; acoustic bass Beau Sample; washboard, percussion and clarinet (1 track) Rick Sherry. Billy Flynn plays electric guitar on one song and mandolin on one or two other. Recorded February last year.

Now for something completely different, here's the clarinet track - touch of the Arnett Nelsons  ;)

I can't get enough of this CD.....

Rivers:
Great groove, had me jammin' along on the mando.

dj:
Wow.  A friend told me about this, and I thanked him and thought "not interested".  I see I was wrong.  Thanks for posting the samples.
