Thanks so much Angie, I'm looking forward to seeing the marker and meeting you.

I don't understand the kerfuffle about the 'King' thing.  I mean, after all, Arthur was the 'King of ragtime guitar', so it's just telling like it is.

I think I made my objections pretty clear Mike with well reasoned arguments. But hey ...what the hell.... I did say I would have to respond however....... >:D

I'll need help obtaining this particular tomb and repurposing it for Rev. Davis. It currently resides in Santa Croce church in Firenze, Italia and is occupied by an obscure artist by name of M. Buonorotti. I think we could raise enough to pay off the proper authorities ($250,000 or so get it boxed up and shipped to the Bronx or Queens where it could be reassembled and the indicated full length sculpture and new inscription added. So get out those checkbooks folks! Lets get this happening! Yahhoooo!

Willie Walker is next..I'm thinking something Pharonic and maybe "God-King of Ragtime Blues Guitar" as the inscription?

I reduced the above to graphic files -- but if Y'all would re-size your graphic uploads to about 400 X 600 , folks could view them without the scroll bar and it would save lots of disk space - about 1 megabyte in this case.

Thanks!

Don't mind us, Angie.  Not to state the obvious, but we're crazy as loons. ;D
