Tuba, resonator guitar & kazoo - Brass Blues!!
« on: September 28, 2010, 12:55:29 PM »
Hey guys!

I know tuba has been used now and then throughout the blues history and it sure sounds wonderful!!
Is there anyone here on the forum who uses tuba on recordings or live??  :)
I'm meaning to get a new duo going over here featuring only brass instruments on stage, lol!!

Check out a little clip from a jam recorded some weeks ago:

Having brass instruments together on stage like this is great fun and in Sweden it sure is a rare combination for a blues duo..
Looking forward to get this started now!!

Great job John!
Looks like ya'll were having fun.

Tom Waits opened my eyes to the fun tuba could bring to music and I've loved it every time I see someone add it to the mix.

Thanks Joe!

I've been amazed everytime I've heard it too, on video or recorded, I have never seen one played live in a blues concert.
So it's really fun for me to finally get this duo going!!
