I've been messing with this Peg Leg Howell tune for a few days. Still a work in progress but I would welcome some comment.

Thats well on the way to being something really nice Phil.

Some parts sound like they may be just a little too low for your voice- I don't know to what extent a capo on the second fret would spoil or enhance the guitar part, but it might be worth a go?

Thanks guys. It's quite tricky to sing, the first phrase of the song is difficult to hit just right. If anyone has any tips on this I'd be grateful.
I've messed about with the capo and this was about where I could get it best yesterday. I'll fool around over the next couple of days and see if it becomes more solid and re-post.
Incidentally, I got the best guitar sound in Vasterpol pitched around Bb or C. Made a bit more variation possible on the tag line. Peg Leg plays in Spanish, tuned around A.

Hi Phil,
The transfer of the song from Spanish to Vestapol sounds really good and seems to sit quite naturally.  It's nice to have that very low root for the I chord.  I'd agree the vocal range could use being raised, possibly to capo on third or fourth fret--it should be brighter and project more there.
