LoudCity problem

(1/1)

Pan:
Hi all.

I wonder if anyone else has had problems with LoudCity? It seems to drop off quite often, sometimes even every fifteen minutes or so. It's not such a big deal, as you can always click the "tune in" button to restart it, but sometimes I wish I didn't have to do it so often, for example if I'm doing something else while listening, or lying down on my bed early in the morning or late at night  :P.

I use Mozilla Firefox and Windows XP.

Sorry if I come across as complaining, I'm of course extremely happy of the Juke being back on air. :) I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if my computer is the culprit.

Cheers

Pan, do you listen from the LoudCity page or do you use one of the players listed at the top of the page?  I listen through Winamp and have never experienced a drop.

Hi dj.

I used to listen to the LoudCity page, but trying different players I had, such as the Windows Mediaplayer, resulted in the same problem.

From your advice, I downloaded Winamp (from which I was previously unaware of) and the problem seems to be solved.

Many thanks to you, and excuse me again my technical incompetence. :)

64K is the higher quality stream - where most of our slots are.
