Good, I'll put together a 78 show  :o that should be a laugh >:D

I know that the rewind message comes in as I can listen to the whole thing on a second computer. I have worked out that that message actually comes in when I switch back from my computer to the weenie server - and as that switch over is in real time and the show is running on a time delay the message just comes in regardless of what is being broadcast.

And, of course the same also applies when I make the inital swiitch from weenie to my computer - I hope that makes sense?  ;D

Caught a good chunk of your show this afternoon. Sounded great. Some very fun stuff a good part of which I hadn't heard before. Caught some Mamie Smith, Memphis Minnie, Lonnie Johnson duets, some piano players. Cool! Seemed to work really nicely, was it live or Memorex?

Hey UB, glad you caught some of it - it's a fabulous show!  Such a romantic ideal, spinning your own 78's!

And not to butt in on Richard, but it was memorex.  We've decided the connection is too tenuous from the UK for some reason, and in fact the stream was dropped twice during the show and there were a couple of other minor glitches as well.  So, Richard is FTPing the show to me as we type -- so, be on the lookout for appropriate type hyperbole.   :D
