I've been sick with the flu, then I had pneumonia on both sides... that was two weeks before Christmas, but now, all the blues I've been playin', think I'll give y'all a couple of church numbers. I ain't never through with the blues yet, but you know, I gotta get well first before I play too many blues. Church songs now, cause, you know, I might die... - Furry Lewis, 1969, from Fourth & Beale, Lucky Seven CD9202

True Steever, but the extras make this an essential purchase. Mostly for the music but the interview with the film maker is fascinating.

I agree 100%. I haven't got the DVD yet, but I plan on getting it, especially after hearing about all the extras on this message board! Looks so good.

God bless Folkstreams, the kind of site the internet is best for, and an ongoing treasure!
Pick any one of their wonderful documentaries, you can't go wrong!
My loathings are simple: stupidity, oppression, crime, cruelty, soft music.
